Many human services executives don't fully embrace the role that marketing plays in shaping an agency's culture and enhancing staff recruitment and retention. Because in 2024, the key to program growth is recruiting highly-qualified staff! This week is "Direct Support Professionals Recognition Week," and my marketing team took the lead in celebrating our DSPs and telling their story!
This year's theme at Incompass Human Services is "Putting Your Best Foot Forward," and we had a little fun with that! To celebrate, we created custom #CareChampion gift boxes, complete with branded Incompass socks from Grossman Marketing Group We welcomed our DSPs with a festive balloon arch and a continental breakfast. And we personally thanked them for the impact they have on the people we serve. ("Best. Monday. Ever." was my favorite quote of the morning!)
Recognizing and celebrating our DSPs in a creative and authentic manner not only boosts morale, but also reinforces our culture and strengthens our brand. The impactful gesture of DSPRW2024, coupled with thoughtful, branded gifts and ongoing content, sets Incompass Human Services apart from other area employers. This where marketing and communications is vital in the #humanservices sector!
